And if golf were actually a puzzle, most golfers are trying to put it together from the inside out.

They pick up a piece here and another piece there. They watch a video, hear a tip, read an article, work on one part of their game, and then move on to something else.

The problem is not always the information.

The problem is knowing what belongs in your game, what to work on, and what order will help you improve faster.

If you were building a puzzle, you would probably build the frame first. The frame gives every piece a place and helps the bigger picture start to make sense.

That idea is at the heart of MYGOLFORDER™.

A Lifetime Dedicated To Golf

I’m Jim Woods, PGA Golf Professional. I’ve been playing golf since I was four years old, teaching since 1993, and I became a PGA Professional in 1998.

I’ve spent my life around this game as a player, competitor, teacher, and coach. I’ve taught thousands of lessons to golfers at just about every level.

And after more than 50 years of playing, I still learn something new about golf all the time.

That is one of the things I love most about the game.

Golf is infinite.

You never really finish learning it.

But there is a big difference between learning more and simply collecting more information.

There is a tremendous amount of good golf information available today. That does not mean all of it belongs in your golf game.

That is where golfers can become confused.

Why I Created MYGOLFORDER™

Over the years, I began to recognize something in my teaching.

Golfers did not just need more instruction.

They needed a clearer way to understand where to start, what comes next, and how the different parts of the game connect.

MYGOLFORDER™ grew from that idea.

I am taking a lifetime of golf knowledge and organizing it into one connected system designed to make the game easier to learn, understand, practice, and play.

I didn’t invent golf.

I organized it.

This blog will be one of the places where I share the stories, experiences, observations, and ideas behind MYGOLFORDER™.

We’ll talk about learning the game, practice, decision-making, preparation, competition, confidence, consistency, feel, and many of the things I have learned from both playing and teaching.

This will not be another collection of random golf tips and quick fixes.

My goal is to get you thinking differently about the game so you can begin learning differently.

MYGOLFORDER™ is launching in 2027, and I’m looking forward to sharing what I have been building.
